Highly established Freight Company looking for an Bilingual Mandarin Export Specialist to bring on to their team!!! The position performs a variety of duties including:
* Scheduling bookings with forwarders
* Proof reading of ocean bills of lading and certificates of origin sent by forwarders
* Submitting shipment pre-advices and export documents to the company's overseas partners
* Performance monitoring - Departures, Arrivals, Trans-shipments, Destination Clearance & Delivery
* Verifying conformity of filled orders and documentation with U.S. and foreign government regulations, export declarations, certificates of origin, and related documents
* Following the organizations export standards and procedures & adhering to export regulations
* Calculating and negotiating freight and drayage charges
* Converting and verifying product weight and volume for export
